Anyone picked this up yet? I got it the other day and it's so damn good. I Haven't played UT since the first one so a lot of it's new for me.

Anyone playing online? I'm prolly pretty crap compared to any vet's though :P.

This is the same as UT3 right?

Well I haveabout 3-4 hrs to get a copy myself locally.

the system specs seems like that of UT2k4, so it shouldn't be any problems running on my comp

Yeah :). Rush out and get it mate, it's well worth the money.

The graphics are supposed to scale well for older machines. I got a brand new comp though so I can ramp everything up nae worries :p.

Will have to give you a game!

It's nowhere near the same spec requirements.

Also as a huge UT2004 fan, UT3 is shit. Been out only 3 weeks and already 1GB worth of patches of shit Epic have knowingly not done to the game in order to get it released before Christmas. They just rushed it out completely unfinished just to hit the deadline. Also the PC version just feels like a shitty port over from a Console versions with the menu's and mouse sens options etc.
Considering the serie has always been for PC and has had a very loyal fan base it feels like a slap in the face.

Yea I noticed it was abit rushed when it crashed twice during the cinamtics, tho they posted a solution that works. This reminds me of the tumult on the 2k gmes forum when it comes to Bioshock, which is a game that already screamed for a patch day 1

I never had any mayor problems with Source, not during playing HL2 or any of the episodes tho. Only time Source crashed for me was during Sin Episodes

CoD4 is good fun, didn't like the perks options and stuff at the beginning but they've grown on me alot.

UT3 is so awesome. But I am so busy atm to play through all the great games that are out atm like cod4 or crysis.

On monday I made a "the witcher" marathon... played through the last 3 chapters till the end in 14 hours... i must be crazy

I used to play UT2004 competitively and the changes to UT3 out of the box make it close to unplayable competitively.
