Are you using IE6 or IE7? (If you don't know, click on "help" in the menu bar, and then "about Internet Explorer")
I'm not having any problems with IE7 or firefox. It sounds like either a security program could be interfering with cookies, or your IE security or privacy settings are too high. Thats just a guess, but whenever there's a login problem with a site its usually related to cookies.

Thats not a "popup" per se. Hehe, theres probably a glitch somewhere. Just a wild guess, but i think if the page contains password protected stuff (not on the site but on the server) it asks to login.

It started appearing when the latest changes to the site were made (around Christmas time), it is still happening now however, it only seems to effect IE.

But it wont let you log in anyway when you fill it in
