I'd rather listen any hard house/hard trance than any hardcore songs Radio 1 would allow him to play.

Yeah i agree, it would just be commercial crap!

ud be surprised! dougal and gammer - crack whore aint too commercial :P

I think kutski's a shit hot dj, aye the tunes he plays are standard as f*ck most the time but he pulls off some quality mixes.

Still remember him mixing annie lennox into a gabber tune one time was absolute comedy. I listened to that show for a bit on radio 1 last night wasnt too bad, i liked the mix he done with "out of space" and the reggae tune it was sampled from.

Zane Lowe's played deathchants before and scotch egg was a guest dj mixing his gameboy speedcore. A lot more alternative underground music than people give them credit for, listen to rob da bank, zane lowe and just random times at daft 'o clock theres great music on there.

I didn't listen to the mix as it was too late as I was up early for work but personally I wouldn't call a 3 year old Dougal and Gammer song 'pushing the boundaries'.

Always did love that song though...

Do remember when they had the residency with him on, he did play some gabber and stuff. Played loads of styles actually, had nice variety to it.

Remember he had a Gabber bit for like 3-4 songs. Only song I remember from it though him was 'Hardcore United - Time To Make A Stand (DJ Neophyte & Evil Activities Mix)'.

Kutski's an amazing DJ, and anybody that say's otherwise CLEARLY doesn't have a clue what makes a good DJ.
His scratching is amazing, and his tune selection is alway's spot on. Doesn't just stick to one genre of music, that so many other DJ's do...which is so boring.
Play's Hardcore, Hard Dance, Hard Trance, Old-Skool, Drum n Bass, Breaks etc etc

Fantastic!

Completely agree. Reminds me of people demanding di.fm take Luna-C's SupaSet's off the hardcore channel as it's not hardcore.

Too many people think a 'good DJ' is just one that plays the exact same hardcore records as every other muppet.

F*kin right big up the real dj's doing something different. Why i like parties like bangface so much is the music policy allows people to just do what they want.

I dont think kutski needs to prove anything to anyone really, his skills for his age and havin a slot on radio 1 already your not gonna give a f*ck if people dont like his style.

Personally i feel he plays too many tracks that have been cained to death, what i meant by standard in my post above. But i still enjoy his sets just cos of the hunmour and things he can do to 2 tracks. Dfinitely got a good imagination and tries different things.

Yeah, remember reading it on there a couple of years ago. Loads of people going "Take this shit down, It's got D&B and breaks on it!"

Have a search on the di hardcore channel forum. Its almost as funny as someone who posted on the HTID forum saying that Luna-C was a great up and coming dj or something similar
