Do u guys find when mixing u have the two beats perfect and all that and heres the part i want to know u have your line outputs perfect as well L.E.D meters just going into the red all your Hi`s,Mid`s and Low`s set to 0db. Then when u mix one tune into the other the master output goes way up because of the 2 beats and when u listen back to the mix it sounds really distorted. How do u guys get round this problem???

Cheers

the 3 knobs below you gains learn to use them:)

Example - your saying that when mixing in the record because of the 2 beats it goes louder

Ok so say deck 1 is "live" when you cue up deck 2 before opening the cross fader you should take a little bit of bass of that track by using the eq's whilst both are playing live then you can alter the eq's and as easy way to do that is when song 1 comes up to a break down or a small vocal sample decrease the bass on that track but increase the bass on the track you are bringing in thus making the new track slightly louder!

For scratching, juggling, drop mixing, or even bass generator style cut in's i would have them set at 0db (scrathing may vary depending on the sound produced)

If i was just attempting a standard blend ie transition from track 1 to track to 2 NEVER would i have them all set to 0

Thats all just my personal preference tho...................
