i will most likely be moving to sweden towards the end of the year (probably to Göteborg) and was wondering what the rave scene is like over there, in sydney there is something good on almost every weekend.

even tho Sweden has Bluecore and Phenex (and me if you'd like that :P), the Rave scene is mostly about Psytrance. Ofcourse there are real Rave related raves, but their more industrial or terrorcore. There are small clubs that might play some more british Hardcore music, but their either not widely advertized, or just random ^^
There' is a swedish forum for small Raves & Club events called TranceClubber, and a community called Badboll (~beachball), but bluecore know's more about that than me, I'm abit of a anti-clubbing guy

ok sweet, there should be something for me to do then. last time i was over there i was there for a bout 2 months and i had **** all to do.

Yes, there is raves here but it can be a little bit tricky to find them.
The best way to find events in Sweden is to become a mamber on www.badboll.nu and look on the upcoming events there. (Its a Swedish site).
There you can find both big and small parties.
If you are looking for Hardcore parties my site www.djbluecore.com is good because I will try to attend to as many as I can :)

psytrance all the way!
im not really a big fan of the actual swedish style of psytrance, but anyway.
Imsure theyd have banging full on or dark parties.
