I've recently got a pair of Stanton STR8 150s but am now unsure of what carts/needles to use. Ideally i'd like ortofon concordes or similar, but I've read that this combination (wth str8 arm) is a bad idea due to the shape of the needle causing excessive vinyl wear. I have a pair of Numark CS-1s (spherical) already, would these be a bad idea too?
Also i'll be using mainly timecoded vinyl which is another reason why I'm more concerned about record wear.
Any help appreciated!

I always go with ortofon OMs, straight or curved tone arm
