Well, I started working on this track yesterday and I really can't get it to have that UK Hardcore feeling :( I usually don't do UK Hardcore stuff, so I really need your advice guys.

Feel free to crush my ego ;)

Some suggestions:

1. Get an entirely different snare. The one you're using has no punch at all.
2. Encode it at 192kps or above. You're wasting everyone's time otherwise, because nobody can give mixdown advice.
3. Get your vocals in key with everything else.
4. The vocal chops were....bad. Really, really bad. Maybe it's just that they were out of key, but it sounded like no amount of pitch shifting could make that sound cohesive.
5. What on earth did you do to move so much of the signal out of the left channel? Your panning is really, really, really off.
6. Your lead sounds like it's a preset of some kind. I'd offer some more criticism, but I can't tell what to change when the bitrate is so low.
7. A clip will hardly give anybody an impression of the song. Structure, flow, polish, all of those can't really shine in a minute long sample.
8. You don't have to try to give anything a "UK Hardcore feeling". Just make what you want to make. And again, I can't really tell whether or not you pulled it off.

You definitely have a lot of work to do, but it sounds like you could really make something good out of this (it's a good riff, if not very original.) Fix things up, finish it up, and show it to us in a way where we can judge it, and you'll be on your way.

Thanks for the feedback :) Really appreciate it. One thing though, I uploaded it
as a 192kbps file?
