Where are good places to go on holiday that have a proper rave/club scene?
I don't mean Funky House/R&B/chart music/etc.
I mean Hardcore/Drum & Bass/Psytrance/Techno/etc.
I'm trying to get some ideas, it has to be in the sun as well obviously.

Italy, France, Holland, Australia, America, Spain, Israel, UK all have large rave scenes. Plenty others have rave scenes but I have no idea how big they are (Japan, Hungary, etc).
When you decide on a place don't just fly out there. Check out the countries forums and sniff about to find out what the good parties are and when they're on.

if i had to choose somewhere to go, would probably be holland, altho ive heard their raves are pretty dangerous, not sure how true it is.

When I go on holiday I'd much rather hear their music than just listen to the same DJ's and Music that I always do... Maybe that's just me though. I'm the same with food and everything.

Dude Australia for sure. We have some of the biggest raves in the world and its DEFINITELY sunny. In fact we've beenn in drought for....oh.... 7 years now?
Just be careful of where you go. The Sydney scene is very upfront Hardcore or Gabber. Ive heard Melbourne and Brisbane are more Freeform though so i guess its up to you. Anything you wanna know id be happy to give you info on :)

anyone know if thers any hardcore events in either ibiza or tenerife? me and a few mates wanna go on holiday soon and i wunt mind goin to a rave while im ther.

My holidays this year will be to Thailand, they bargirls ain't gonna know whats hit them:P (and i plan on hitting as many as i can:))

i went to a massive rave in holland last sept and didnt feel scared at all... yet i went to a HTID in dec and saw my first ever fight at a rave in the gabber tent.... i dont know, maybe because alot of the hardcore/gabba ravers in holland are skinheads ppl feel intimidated by them lol... i found them to be quite nice :)

yeh i suppose,but while i listen 2 the music on cd all the time,i don,t get 2 see the boys in action 2 often
