This is going back years but he had a show called the Big Beat show on Radio 1! then they got rid of him for some little shite called Pete Tong! In other words the friday night show (Jeff young on the Big Beat show! go on Jeff let the records flow!) I'd have to say he was one of the first to play any type of hardcore on radio 1! and he'd always have a guest DJ doing a mash up mix every week!

Remember him well.
First thing i thought when i saw the topic was 'he got replaced by Pete Tong'!
Really loved the show all those years ago, to be honest i did like Tong's show at first too.

I remember a pirate show years ago not sure who it was could well of been this but not to sure.
