is bouncy techno the same thing as happy hardcore?

no its not, they are similar in some ways (alot of Happy Hardcore from '96 toke infulences from Scottish Bouncy Techno) but Bouncy techno went out in 1997 It usualy has hard kicks and techno riffs and has less vocals and is less cheesy than Happy hardcore which is more uplifting lol Bouncy Techno goes well with Gabber as well...
