Normally never bother cos cash is more important but got a new job starting where i'll be paid straight away plus get the month i worked in advance at current job.

Went on a two day drink binge about camden and brick lane there and felt awful this morning, quit my job over the phone and had the day off for recovery. Forgot how nice it is to have an unplanned day off to chill.

Anyway do you indulge in sickys or are you a model employee?

dude nah.... i think about it like this

When you have a job that you dont like, or that isnt particularly good, and yuu need time away you cant exactly say you need a day off... so you chuck a sickie... usually if you're chucking a sickie its pretty easy to tell when people are faking it so people usually know - but dont say anything coz they figure you have a good reason.

Gotta love the sickies.

School was great for sickies.

im in the army so unless you really ARE sick, theres no way of getting away with it without looking like fairy!

illness & pain are just weakness, leaving the body.

Pretty rare for me but then I love my job and get reasonable paid holiday anyways. I've only pulled one in the last two years and that was 'cus I'd litterally been up all weekend on a massive bender and my body was incapable of going even if I wanted to :p.

it's rare for me to pull a sicky tbh, i quite enjoy my job.

i sorta found that when i was working in a shop or whatever i done it alot more. but i suppose it depends on whether i like my job & the people i work with.

don't do it unless im really ill though!

Haha no i didnt quit because of the bender, bender was more celebration of new job.

Worked in a builders merchant for the last year and has been one of the most boring jobs i've ever done, colleagues are generally really rude to each other and its just dull and repetitive work. Gotta do one more week now and free of it, cant believe ive stuck it for so long tbh.

only time I call in is if I'm actually sick, weather related, or family emergency.

I like my job =P

I think nate had the best call in. he was out partying hard for a weekend, called his boss and told him nate had died hehe

Bits of last night come back to me, I wonder if the police will ring me back after I told them I got started on! (not that I know who done it and nothing bad happened but at the time I was NOT happy lol)
