Due to a few requests for adding past events to the event DB that we don't already have so people can add them as attending in their profiles we have changed the system so that when you add an old event it will add the event topic for that event as the day of the event so that it wont make it a new active topic. We've been testing it over the last few days and it works fine so far (thanks to novaboy for entering in a bunch of old events).
We've also got a new feature on everyone's member profiles, we're tracking the number of events you're submitted to the site, this includes past events that you would have already submitted.
Bug fixes on member profiles so that intro's don't disappear anymore (whoops).
Private events now work as expected, and you can no longer "attend" a private event.
New PM and emailing functions, you'll now be emailed once your event has been validated so that there is no guessing.
You'll also be PMed and emailed if your event is deleted, you'll be given a reason, the most common is that the event doesn't feature at least 1 hardcore DJ or it's dupe entry.

one suggestion, instead of putting the event counter in profiles, why next to the actual post count?

Yeah was thinking of putting perhaps
events attended
events submited
records owned
But it might get too much since that info is in the users profile and that is one click away, perhaps I'll create the option so that people can decide 1 of those to display...
BTW two more bug fixes...
v3.1.51.1
* Fix: Memberprofile: Writing a persons introduction changed all the relationships written by other people for that person to the same relationship as you just entered if that other person didn't already have a pre-existing relationship (phew!).
* Fix: Events: Event stats are now refreshed for the poster on a direct event add.
