Hiya,
im doin my undergraduate dissertation at uni investigating whether there is a possible link between rave music and the effects of ecstasy on the mind and body.
As part of it i need to get the opinions of all you ravers out there on the subject so if you could help me by filling out this short questionnaire i would be really really grateful as your thoughts are essential to support the research i have already done.
It looks a lot of questions but i promise it will only take about 10mins tops to fill in and will help me enourmously. If you could do it and PM me your answers that would be great or alternatively you could email it to me at [email protected]. All your responses will remain anonymous but i may use some parts of answers in the final project.

12. If yes, did this make a difference to any aspects of the night?
13. Do you feel that there is a connection between the effects of ecstasy on the listener and rave music? Why?

15. Which aspects of the music are most important to you?
(e.g. bass, melody, lyrics, special effects, etc.)
16. Do you think any features of the music have an influence on the effects of ecstasy on your mind or body? In what way?
17. Do you think that the effects of ecstasy influence your perception of any features of the music? In what way?
18. What do you perceive the role of an MC to be?
19. How important do you perceive the role of the MC to be? Why?
20. Does the MC have any influence on your experience of ecstasy? How?
21. Do other ravers have any influence on the quality of your night? Why?
22. Do other ravers have any influence on your experience of ecstasy? How?
This concludes the questionnaire. Thank you once again for helping with the research that is essential for my dissertation project :o)

Set up a website to do this anonymously, otherwise it is bias. A lot of people might not want to openly admit to taking ecstasy on an open forum.

yeah i totally understand what you're saying about setting up a website to do this but to be completely honest im not that good with computers n stuff so i have no idea how to. PMing or emailing is about the best way i know how im afraid, at least that way the only person who wud kno ur answers is me.
I guess when i say its anonymous i mean it will be in the actual report as no names will be included at all. I wud know your answers obviously coz u will send them to me but im not here to judge at all. Im jus trying to gather some information. It's no probs if anyone feels uncomfortable responding they dont have to :o) thanks for your input tho coz i will have to discuss this kind of thing in my dissertation anyway so its all important stuff :o)

I never been to a rave or dropped an E so can't really answer but noticed you go to my local uni I live a few miles from. =P
