Ive just stumble over a "dj" name: Zitkus. He has tons of things that are the same as Cammys and Rankin shits (I hope I dont have to explain who Rankin and Cammy are?) For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCs5TqMrfvM
But the thing is I just saw that he have friends like Bounce and are playing at big raves supported by dontstayin (http://www.dj-zitkus.tk/)
Is this the way to get famous? Steal others tunes and name them with my own name?
Why is noone stopping these guys? They still gets booked at raves. What serious promoters book these guys?
I just cant be quiet about this anymore becuase this will in some way kill the scene and all the honest djs and producers will dissapear (yeah, I really think that if this keeps going on)
In some way this needs to stop. What are the producers saying abut that their tunes get fake named? Do they even know about it?

I don't think you understand what I said. I meant it must be a different Zitkus. No promoter I know would let one of these "bootleggers" on the decks.
FYI, there is hundreds of people doing these "remixes".

Not really that unlikely, Zitkus is a last name.
Maybe I'm wrong though... Perhaps the guy used to do "remixes" then grew some ears and took up proper dj'ing and/or production.

Im pretty sure Pulse and Rankin have been booked, and since when did promotors care about what they play, when earn cash on selling CD/tape packs in the first place?

The pcdj'n stuff is in Zitkus' past. The guys trying really hard to lose the tag. He holds monthly underground hardcore events in Glasgow. He's made a good effort to move on from the past. So to say he's stealing tunes and getting famous from them is unfair, because thats not his scene. The videos on you tube wernt posted by him, just wee fannies (probs 15 year olds) who still thrive on shit music. If any of you are ever in glasgow you should make the effort to come along to the nights.

zitkus is ma brother lol its the same zitkus, just no the zitkus use kno lolol he stopped pcdj'in wen he was 17 n now he is 22 he has been dj'in in events such as the djs crib ( which he is the finder & owner), twisted & brainfire, hard to the core, x-treme euphoria ect...... n if ur thinkin wen he djs he plays they ****ed up remixes well game over if u think that. he is just out doin what he loves best n thats on the decks....anno am his bro no stickin up for him or that but bein honest he is shit hot on them man ... bounce is a gd pal anaw, same with mikk, n marc loage could go on with djs n producers lol .. so on .. so on... ya get ma drift..lolol

Samination - Rankin and Cammy have never been booked for a proper rave event. They have played school discos and made fake fliers but that's about it.

lol i also can verify zitkus is well and truly not that same 'pcdj' person he once was, he is now one of glasgow's finest hardcore dj's playing alongside some of the best in the buisness. Along with this, he plays a massive part in keeping the scene thriving in glasgow, regularly holding an event called TheDjsCrib, which plays host to some massive names, whilst also giving less known djs the chance to get some experience and helping with the promotion of similar events.
So give the guy a break eh, he knows more than anyone how stupid doing that stuff was, and really doesn't need to hear it from random people who didn't bother to learn the facts!

for fcuk sake stop using the PCDJ thing when you're refering to Rankin or alike.
Since I use VirtualDJ to mix, I dont want to me labeled like Rankin. You dont need a DJing software to "mix 2 tracks together"
Just call him a bootlegging twat...

that's like me trying to hide that I fileshare(d). I did it, and unlike most people who confessed. I DO NOT FEEL ASHAMED OF IT. If it wheren't for kaza*a or other P2P, I wouldnt have downloaded hardcore, to later BUY it (I've bought atleast 3 times the amount I had illegally).
Well creds to him not trying to hide it (by changing dj name), but yea, We can clearly see he's not like Rankin when he's getting it on with proper stuff, but to most of us, Glasgow will alwatys be synonyme to 'DJ' Rankin.
