Cyber:-

Basically coloured, dreaded/braided hair, big boots, PVC, shiny stuff, piercing and spikes. Also remember a lot of blokes used to wear that spiked body armour, that was cyber too.

Looked good, done well, on a hot girl. Looked shit on everyone else IMHO.

People do still do it :-/. Was still big in trancey UK hardcore parties between 01-03. Mainly a hard house/trance/style thing though. I guess you could class some of the new girls clubwear fasion as cyber still.

Yeah. Even some of the girls looked shit though. Either the bigguns showing more than you need to see or ones wearing stuff that could have been made out of left over Christmas wrapping paper (see last picture).

Really? Not a fan of the materials myself. Looks like bad, home made clobber.

Don't think any of the pics are great to be honest but couldn't find many examples of cyber stuff without it being too clubby or too goth.

are there any pictures floating around that are bad examples of the 'cyber-look'?

I could use a good laugh. That 'cyber look' goes well with Cuties. Im bettting it looks hilarious on anyone else.

since i attend cybergoth/industrial parties at a regular basis I'm used to the style, it's just not for me (I'd look like shit in it and my hair doesn't seem to get along with synthlocks).

I think that cyber stuff looks pretty stupid. I mean to each their own, but in MY opinion it's rediculous. I am a full supporter of Kandi Kids on the other hands, that is good stuff. But dressing up like a cast member on Star Trek just doesn't seem "fashionable" in any sense of the word.

Hold on, you love the Kandi-style but dislike cyber???
Are you serious?

so you don't like ppl dressing up as "cast members on Star trek" but you do like ppl who look like they just got out of an all-out war of 300 different clans of paintballers who all use a different color of ammo and who you'd put in a diper to compliment the pacifier?
That is "fashionable" to you?

I lol'd on that thought
