Hello folks!
I'd have to say that I'm pretty disappointed on the game. The layout it had before was PERFECTION! I feel like I'm driving around aimlessly looking for events to unlock, that gets old after 5 minutes (kinda similar to GTA).
Who here owns Burnout Paradise??? whether it's for the PS3 or 360..same thing.
What's your opinion on it??
Thanks!

How is that similar to GTA? I realize that there is driving. But...when does GTA get old?

Got the demo, quite liked it, you know you have to stop at the traffic lights to get the events?

I thought the point of these games was to let go and not stop at traffic lights. Making you feel reckless! =]

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE GTA for all it's worth, it never gets old. I'm just upset that EA changed B.P the way they did. I think it's BS to go driving looking for the events rather than you choose which event you'd like to play.
The graphics are killer, fawkin' love it! I'm sure once I get used to it, I'll be happier with it. It's great to know some of you have/played it. =]
Kathyrn: Thank you! :)
Silver: Stop act traffic lights?? C'mon, you know I don't believe in brakes..lol :p
Act like you know and buy the game! This is definitely right up your field. Maybe this time we could actually play against each other! lol
Thanks for the feedback guys !

I have been playing it a lot actually, I don't feel as though it has the lasting appeal that Burnout Revenge had for me (I played that a huge amount). As I nearly have gotten my Elite Licence in the game and it just seems all too easy.
I only play it when my mates come over though, I have two other friends with the game and we just get together and network the 360's, thats when the game shines in my opinion. Being able to have people in the city you know and just creating crazy situations.
The crashes look absolutely awesome, I never get tired of watching the car fall apart in thousands of ways.
But overall im pleased with the game, again I dont think it will last on me like the last Burnout did, but good all the same.

I was waiting for "lois this is not my batman glass" =P
I like it, not as much as the first couple burnouts. it does get a little old if you fail an event that you have to drive all the way back to it.
burnout has always been about racing crazily and since three it has been about the takedowns. however, both of these aspects are greatly diminished in this game due to the open world nature there is no set path from point A to point B. in most of the races I have played I don't even have a chance for takedowns.
