I nearly have all the Bonkers CDs. Just missing 2 and 7. Anyhow, I always looked forward to Dougal's discs. The majority of the time Dougal's discs were always my favorite. Scott Brown came in close second. However, lately the last few Bonkers I've noticed Sharkey is making my favorite discs. I think even surpassing Scott Brown's. Sharkey seems to be willing more to go "outside the box" and push the boundries on what he puts on his discs. I think Scott Brown's last disc was a little mediocre. Does anybody know why Dougal has not shown up on the last couple Bonkers compilations? He still might be my favorite, but since he hasn't been on them, Sharkey has been representing. Anybody else have opinions on who they think is improving or getting worse?

Might have something 2 do w/ Gammer. I don't think I've ever heard Dougal do a back2back mix without Gammer. There just might not have been enough room 4 them since Sharkey, Marc Smith and Scott Brown HAVE to be on those compilations (at least that's what it seems like to me).
I gotta agree w/ u tho i never muched like the sharkey mixes that much because they were a little too "dark" for me. But this time around him and Kevin Energy did an absolute amazing job. And Scott brown to me is the same he's just not a good dj to me anymore. He is, however, still a good producer in my opinion.
Brisk & ham shouldn't mix together again. If they do they'll probably try going for 40 trax on 1 CD and that right there will stop me from buyin the next Bonkers album if they ever continue the series.

agreed on the brisk and ham thing! I think bonkers dropped disk 4 to save money thus pushing dougal out! But consider since then what disks dougal has done.
Dougal and gammer have done Hardcore euphoria and true hardcore since both of which were good so they are not starving for work.
it is also worth noting that kevin energy and sharkey are also doing the almost thirty track disks (bonkers 17). Really gets my goat lets have 4 disks of twenty tracks each at the most! some of them even being over maybe three and a half minutes (un heard of with the above djs in the last few years) Instead of theree cds with two of em having twenty eight tracks and some of em two minutes or less.

what's wrong with faster mixing? outro to intro mixing for an hour gets really boring really fast.

I want Dougal back on Bonkers, but without Gammer. Did anyone else hear "Don't Stop Go!" by them...awful! I think Dougal needs to start wearing the pants in their relationship and start pushing more towards the cheesy sound again because many of their new stuff just isnt worth the listen!

Well, Sharkey owned the label and wasn't on number 6 or 7. Marc Smith was only on 15 & 17 and Scott Brown only started mixing on them from Bonkers 9.

i really want dougal back on bonkers i miss his happy stuff...but i would hate to see scott brown leave, i ALWAYS look forward to his disc im a gabber baby!!
im glad they dropped the 4th dics because it seemed to be turnign into a crappy thing that deca dance would release but it also cuts down on the variety you can have unless you keep the B2B format...im my own opinion thier can not be a bonkers album without Hixxy & or sharkey (even though its already been done LOL)

bah Dougal is so lame compared to other big names
his mixing isn't adventurous at all and he can't really produce much that's good on his own nowadays anyways
Gammer would be nicer to have on Bonkers

Brisk on another Bonkers CD would be good because his music he has produced is always top notch.

I dunno how good is Dougal in general, but his mix on Bonkers 13 is probably one of the best mixes of the Bonkers series.
