Very new to this style of music. Can someone please reccomend some good happy hardcore? Thanks a lot.
I'm new at identifying types of techno as well. I know how to define happy hardcore and house etc. Anyone ever hear of DJ Pulse? What type of techno is he?
Thanks

I won't recommend any choons as there are far too many to mention. Although Happy Hardcore is in the past & it's all UK Hardcore now so some of the newer compilations you could get are:
Bonkers
Helter Skelters
Hardcore Nations
Hardcore Adrenalines
Hardcore Heavens
Clubland Xtreme Hardcores
Hardcore Underground
True Hardcore.
If it is Happy Hardcore your after, reply to this & i'll let you know of some good stuff to get hold of.

Thanks for the response.
You say happy hardcore is done with, and now there is only UK hardcore? What is the difference between the two? I'd love to hear reccomendations from both genres. Thanks for the compilations list.

Happy Hardcore was mainly in the mid to late 90s. It tends to be a more happier & bouncier style with High pitched vocals, Piano Riffs, Synth Stabs & various Spacey type effects. A more uncommercial sort of sounding music.
UK Hardcore is more like sped up trance with a much more commercial sound very similar to alot of the Clubland stuff you hear. Another genre you might want to get into is Rave Breaks. Rave Breaks is basically choons from the early days of Hardcore with a fresh updated sound.
A few Happy Hardcore artists you could check out would be:
Sy & Unknown, Slipmatt, Vibes, Dougal, Brisk & Ham, Hixxy, Seduction, Force & Styles, Sharkey, Scott Brown, Demo, Breeze, Ramos, Supreme, Sunset Regime, DNA, Fade & Bananaman, Vinylgroover, Billy Bunter, Bang, Eruption, Mickey Skeedale, Visa, Druid, Go Mental (Or Kaos).
To name just a few. You won't go wrong if you buy choons buy any of these.

As for some UK Hardcore artists you could check out are:
Darwin, CLSM, Joey Riot, Kurt, Weaver, Gammer, Re-Con, Stu Allan, Kevin Energy, Cube::Hard Although some of these have been around for a while. It's also worth checking Discogs as a lot of DJ's / Producers have several aliases (Especially Scott Brown) therefore giving you more choice.

How you can recomend them I dont know?
Tbh mate you're best of finding a local privately owned music shop and hunting out some older albums or browse on the net. Bonkers and older hardcore heavens are you're best bet. Also blatent beats series are great cd's.
