Does anyone know a good web design/production service? that they can recommend to me?
The cheaper the better. How much would it cost, or am i better doing it myself?

hey man, i actually work as a web-designer.
It all really depends on what you're looking for from your website...
How big are you wanting to go with it? Or are you just wanting a small personal site?
You'll also need a hosting package, sometimes these include the domain name, sometimes they don't...
You can spend an infinite amount of money getting your website the way you want it to be tbh. It just depends what you're looking for ...

personally i wouldnt bother getting a professional, they cost a fortune and you will never get everything done properly ( im my experiance).
best bet is find someone who does it for a hobby and slip em 50 quid + try and help them as much as possible to make their life easier.
one thing i must stress though, make sure you have got ALL of your ideas and requirements BEFORE you ask someone to commence the job! there is NOTHING worse than getting part way through a job and then the customer changes their mind so do some research and make bullet points of what you want / would like and come to an agreement before the works starts!
