do you play it from start to finish (ie cd1 then cd2 then cd3) no matter whos mixing?
or do you play what you know will be the best mix first then the worst one last?
or do you do what I do and play the worst one first and save the best till last?

Well...if its a Bonkers cd mix, I listen to cd 1, skip Sharkey's mix, amd go straight to the either cd 3 (and cd 4 if there is one). If it's any other cd mix, I just follow the cd #'s unless one is a Freeform mix, I skip it.

Exact opposite of warped candy kid when it comes to bonkers - Listen to Sharkeys mix a few times, then Scott brown (Skip to the gabber 1st time then full listen thru 2nd) Then 4 th CD if there, Hixxy/re-con last (Brisk & Ham this time). Other compilations 1-3 unless theres freeform or gabber then i play that 1st

If i buy a compilation i will listen to the start I.E. Go through cd 1 then 2 and so on.

I find to appreciate your Purchase you have to actually sit down and listen to the whole thing through.

I hate these people who get the CD, then just skip through the whole of it then play something which they know or think sounds pretty good.

My cds never get played EVER! When i buy them they go straight into the pc and ripped down to either wma or omg format and moved onto my archos or minidisk player. The cds are ripped and never played i keep them aside in mint condition :) As to my playing preferences i usually rip a cd and then flick through ( like 20 seconds each ) the tracks from 1 to finish disk one to the end. After that i go back and listen to the ones that stood out. Some tunes (mostly on stu allen disks) never get a full listen.

Most Upfront Cds I get bored of very easily! Alot of the stuff I listen to these days is stuff uploaded onto the internet as there is little in the way of what im interested on mainstream cds! Alot of members of this site have provided links to their mixes which have blown me away! Im now in the process of making my own mixes! There is another one coming soon!

I have a program on my computer which means I can vut tracks so I can put each track onto a CD or my I-pod! The latest mix was an Old Skool Bouncy Techno mix from Twisted & Brainfire: http://www.twistedandbrainfire.com/audio.htm

I buy my compilations as soon as i can afford them really.
I normally flick through first to see what there is on there, then when i've gone through every disc i'll play them from start to finish.

Anyone brought a CD without knowing most of the stuff on it and ending up loving it? Thats what happened with Bonkers 13 (my first Bonkers) someone had recomended them & this was when I started getting into Hardcore & loved all the mixes! Still love that one now but lost Dougal's mix years ago!
