hey everyone, i'm new to the forums and this is my first post! i have a question about an older song that has been remixed, renamed, and performed by many artists. the infamous, 'i'm raving, i'm raving', which was originally 'walking in memphis'...i am sure you guys know what song i'm talking about. the version i'm wondering about is vinylgroover - up yours, which appears to be the only version with different words...'i put on my dancing shoes'...instead of put on my raving shoes, and several other changes, also female instead of male vocals. i have an old cassette from years and years ago of a happy hardcore DJ named Matt Positive with this female put on my dancing shoes version of this song on the set, and I can't seem to find this version anywhere on the internet, the closest I can find is the vinylgroover version, do you guys know if anyone remixed his version? and do you guys also know anything about matt positive? His set on the cassette I have is still my favorite set of all time... I really hope you guys can help me out because I have been trying to find this song for years!!

Way back in the day of happy hardcore force and styles used to play this alot! i think they remixed but aint 100%
i know which tune your on about - never heard of that bloke tho!

this is the version with the girl singing, the version i'm looking for is a bit faster and higher pitched vocals...maybe the guy who made the set that i have it on just sped up the vinyl when he played it? it seems like a different version though...i'm hoping someone out there knows of any remixes for it. and vinylgroover - so real isn't the right song unfortunately :(...i found it on the 'net and the part where the girl is singing 'sooo reaaal' over and over is actually on the up yours track...but that's it...

i have the Track on 'The World of Vinylgroover Part 2' i think the one he is on about
Yes i have just checked on the CD
It says 'Put on my dancing shoes'. It is Track #9 on the CD...
On the back of the Case it says it's by ' VGT - Vol.2'
put on the computer it comes up as vinylgroover, ... well if you needed bit more info

best thing you can do buddy is rip it to your computer, then cut about 20 secs of it and upload it.. then we could ID it for you!
