A fine choice! Possibly my favourite ever.

Decent lyrics for a funeral tune, actually.

That's a good question! In my opinion GoBeserk made a great choice with 'Nobody said it was easy' and 'goodbye my friend'. I would find my peace with
- Bang! - Cloudy Daze
- DJ Kaos - Sorry

At serveral funerals and marriages I've experienced so far, I don't remember people even taking notice of the played music.
No one cares!

Probably because it's been nothing out of the ordinary. Any of these songs would definitely draw some attention to it.

Yeah, because people try to stay conservative and not trying to upset people on a very important day of your life. My schoolmates sucessfully forced me to use a different song while going up to the my A-Level-Graduation.
I was faced out being a great grumbler at my second older sister's wedding, because the music was totally shit.

Well, under such circumstances, you can call me being a Rave Conservative as well!

What song would you have used and what was the actual song?

I didn't choose a Hardcore track!
I demanded to play a mixture of "The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony" into "Moby - Bittersweet Symphony". It might sounds boring, but I was totally focused into Trance back these days.
At the end they only agreed to play the original. My suggested alternative was "Rodgau Monotones - Erbarme, Die Hesse Komme'.
