i fell in love with it when i was about 13/15 around about 94 ish.. when i was living in manchester and hardcore was absolutley masive back then in manchester!
the days of bowlers and recording stu alans hardcore show on key 103 onto tape are long missed

Used to listen to hard house then the first time hixxy and storm played at global gathering switched to hardcore. had listened to it before but hard house was my main style and global switched me around

must admit hard house is a bit boring, it has some ok'is tunes in it tho thats ok in very small doses!

Well i always loved music... not like a total geek about it but since i was 12 i knew about every bands bio. I played trumpet at the time and had some piano classes going on. Couple years go on by I wanted more than this boring rock crap (nothing wrong with it love alot of the bands) and rap, we wont go into rap. About 6 months ago (15) I was walking through the mall. I saw one of my friends there and he had an old style big ass boombox on his shoulder and he was playing Dr Pepper by DJ Frieza (i think)
It all started then
I went online and bought a few softwares to make my own techno and stuff
(i have a few good songs. 8/10)
but i needed more.
i needed, happy-hardcore
and now for about 3 weeks ive been practicing my djing skillz

Back in 2004 I listened to a few tunes from the Next Generation label and the two DJs music I heard was Frisky & Hujib and one of their remixes from Hardcore Till I Die 2.

Impressive set of tunes and then once I got into it I started buying the CDs.

somehow came across DJ Ravine in around august last year, been in love weith happy hardcore since. before ravine, and real hardcore, i <3ed TUNE UP!

hmm knew about the rave scene when i was 11ish, got into all the cheesy techno, oldskool tunes. wanted to get some fluffies and this site came up in the search because of a topic had been posted about them.
soon in enough, found myself bouncing to some happy hardcore. tried getting into a rave in '04 feat the legend himself scott brown, but was wayy too young. and so ended up hitting my first rave when i was 15, where cloudskipper played. been raving the nights away to hardcore ever since.
just turned 18 on sat, and possibly will be studying at uni in england by september, all because of my love for hardcore. crazy isn't it.
btw, i'm going to be back in england around the 3rd week of april, so if anyone knows any events going on. hit me up. gonna be out and about in london for a bit, then up manchester before i leave back to new york..
