^^^ A style of Hardcore from 1993-1997 which was harder than Happy hardcore but not as hard as Gabber (but NOT Happy Gabber) It had hard kicks but not as hard as the Gabber bass drums & bouncy synths but not much in the way of vocals or pianos! It had little breaks and always had a progressive stomping rythem!
It is said to have 'merged' with Happy Hardcore in 1996 & it was mostly active in Scottland and Newcastle, Tyne & Wear area in North East England & alot in The Netherlands!

That is a tune!
Not sure if its a Bouncy Techno tune but like Squirt - Water Pistol.
Never really seen any difference between Bouncy Techno & Happy Gabber myself.

^^^ Yes, please that will be enjoyable! Btw Happy Gabber is more cheesy than Bouncy Techno, think of Happy Hardcore with a Gabber make over! Usualy hard drumbeats & cheesy vocals but less empesis on Techno riffts & offbeat stabs that Bouncy Techno has!
Btw im going to be working on some new mixes & there will be some Bouncy Techno, Happy Gabber along side of other styles!

^^^ Im waiting for Rushbins to arrive in the post! Squirt- Water Pistol seems to be a lot like Happy Hardcore but no pianos which seemed to be the 'thing' for every Happy Hardcore track around 1994!

I have heard that Northen Ireland Bou cy Techno too but not so sure of Irish artists although the year before last Nu Foundation had a 5 track mix with new Bouncy Techno! I belive Nu Foundation is from Ireland!
Im trying to hunt for as much English Bouncy Techno possible for a futre mix... I think it got a fair play in the United States along side of the Gabber scene out there. A few US artests have produced stuff with both Scottish & Dutch artists!
I also think DJ Seducation & Remos, Supreme & Sunset Regime could have a number of tunes classed as Bouncy Techno as they used some very sexy stabs! A bit more on the breaks, pianos & vocals for a lot of Seductions tunes though although he always gave his tunes a Bouncy edge! Back in 2005 he had a number of tracks with off beat stabs yet soft kicks (think of Upfront Hardcore with an old skool sounding stab as well) but seemed to stop doing! Tracks like The Devil with DJ Sy & Move your Body; on Dougal & Gammer's mix on Bonkers 15 & Sy's mix on Hardcore Heaven 3 & a small number of tracks on hardcore Nation 2! Shame the kicks were soft & it had boring basslines otherwise it could have been a beast of a mix!
When I start producing I will make it with hard kicks; alwasy!

Jump around is more Happy Hardcore really. Not as cheesy as stuff like Toytown & Steamtrain though, although then a version of Toytown is on Bouncy Techno Anthems 1 which is a CD im yet to own...
