Im Looking at buying some new decks ive been looking everywhere and the one i keep coming back to are Stantons new ST 120 C. I keep hearing good things about them on the net (Paul Oakenfold deck of choice) but want some feed back from dj's or anyone who no's about them. How high do you rate them etc.
I know what the best turntables out there are but im lookin for some i can afford at the moment as i got my most recent decks very cheep and they have been so unreliable.
So Please if anyone can give me some feed back that would be great.

That is probably some clever marketing and nothing more mate. Can't see why anyone would choose a middle of the road deck as their deck of choice.
Technic 1210's. Go second hand if needs be, still a better choice.

ROFL, I'd think that would be more of a reason not to buy them =P

yeah dude. more than likely, they just paid him a lot of money so they could slap his name on their product, and have him use stanton decks exclusively.
i bought my technics second hand and i've never looked back. yes they are used, but functionally they are perfect and i doubt i'll need to buy another pair. ever.
i can personally guarentee that you wont get buyers remorse or the feel the need to upgrade if you get technics. i can't say the same for else really.

Technics are way better. I have used both.
The Stantons don't hold well. On top of that technics are 79.53% more reliable and you WILL use them if you play out in a club.

don't get anything other than Technics
Anybody telling you to get Stantons is a noob.
Oakenfold hasn't played vinyl in years, and even when he did...he was a TERRIBLE DJ.
He trainwrecked constantly when he was live on di.fm. He didn't even correct the mixes. LOL.

I got Technics 1210Mk2's off ebay and yes they are very good.
They are solid, reliable and they DON'T lose pitch at all.
Stanton decks have been known to lose pitch.
TBH, I am skeptical to go anything other than Technics even though the price might be cheaper than the Technics.
The ST-150's are solid as well but the reliability and the "losing pitch" issue dont go well with me :)
Seriously, if you want good solid reliable decks then go Technics and you wont regret it.
I have looked at stanton before and I know more people have recommended the Technics 1200/1210's over anything else even though they might have more touque, they certainly dont have the reliability and a very solid pitch fader.
Hopefully you get something good afterall on eBay or something :)
