Which hardcore styles are your faves and which do you enjoy the most?
i myself love a good trancey hardcore tune, a nice rifftastic trancey breakdown... then a thunderous kick does it for me..
i love bouncy hardcore too.. as in sy, scott brown, riot, kurt and the obit 1 mix he posted!
i like gabber very occasionally, i cant listen to it all the time!
love the old happy stuff - it gets lots of plays in my house!

I don't have one. The more styles in one mix the better!
Only thing I would say... I think the bouncy Quosh sound has got really weak over the last few years.

Definitely agree that Sy sets are gettin weaker lately, but beleive theres alot more he can and will bring to Hardcore.
Love the sounds of Lethal Theory at the moment, and think i will be for a long time. Saw Joey Riot in my home town, and it was the best rave id had for ages.

The bestest are Japanese Hardcore and HHC (Not just the old but also the type of stuff that e.g. Imperial Forces made)

Bouncy Techno, Happy Gabber, Old Skool Gabber, Happy Hardcore, Old Skool/ early 1990s, Freeform is the order of choice. I find Upfront UK Hardcore dull.

Hardcore techno, speedcore, early dutch hardcore, bouncy techno, old breakbeat hardcore, kniteforce style, some breakcore and a bit of 3 deck makina.
What ive heard of japanese hardcore was cool but dont no much about it. Old happy hardcore is certain tunes i still think are class but rarely play it anymore. Find pretty much all uk hardcore, freeform or nu style boring again bar odd track that stands out.

I mostly listen to oldschool stuff. Pre 98-99 trancecore, bouncy techno, and HHC tend to get most of my hardcore listening (unless you're counting 92-93 breakbeat stuff, which I listen to huge amounts of). The rest is mostly freeform, breakcore, and speedcore.

breakbeat hardcore with a good vocal can't be beat, in my opinion.

take away the 'breakbeat' and that would be classed as cheesecore
