If you wanna start DJ'ing then you should get some equipment. Depends if you wanna spend heaps of money on your gear which is much better. It depends on you.

Just get a decent mixer, headphones, turntable or CDJ's and studio monitors (not necessary)

Then go from there and practice beatmatching and train your ear this might take months or years.... but yeh just get your gear 1st.
