As featured on Crush on Hardcore “A New Era” I wanted to get peoples views on this one.
The original was done at UFO’s to which I recently signed it for Re-Addicted.
I did recently play my remix in the presence of UFO & he was quite impressed with it & by the crowd’s reaction.
To me this is my best remix work to date.

This is very good production work, thumbs up. Sounds like you've used Nexus a lot, I'd recognise that phaser anywhere :)
I like the snare particularly, I'd like to know how it's been layered and what software/hardware you use generally

Mate i was pretty into it, i've spoken to a few people about it today actually but they're not keen on the vocals which is a load of pish if you ask me (thats saying something cos im pretty hard pleased). Top tune !

Hay,
Thanks for all the comments so far.
In regards to what I use & tricks.
Snare:
With my kick drum I layer up one knocky style kick an one bottom end pounidng club kick. Over break down
I use the bottomend kick with my snare to give it that beef. Also add a little bottom end to the snare - not much
just a tad.
Also in regards to what I use.
In the X-Virus remix I used the following VSTs.
Nexus (Love this synth) - Lead / Pad
Vanguard - Lead
V-Station - Gritty Sound Under Pad
Juno X 2 - Bass
Korg Legacy - One of them D & B Sounds
Thats what I can remember plus a load of samples for other bass parts, kick, FX etc etc
I currently am running Logic 5.5.1 (last PC version)
As for kit.......I have an un-used Akai S3000 Sampler that was Impacts. Only use it to get older samples from the disks.
