Jester was a combination of two circumstances. My best mate who was a graffiti artist unfortunately passed away and he tagged himself as Jester, so it was sort of my way of carrying him on, but through my passion of music whereas he loved his art. The other side to it is that it is a reflection of my personality. I like to entertain people, have fun, dismiss worries and pick up the people i'm around if they feel down through general muppetness and Jesterish acts.

My name holds a lot of importance to me; reminds me of how it all started with my mate, and now everywhere i go, i create more memories to add to it when i don the Jester hat for my raves.

Sorry for the long ramble, but you did ask and i can't be half hearted with that story i'm afraid

I used to listen to a track by Hixxy & Sharkey alot called Wanting to get high which for some reason was also called 'Smoogee's awake' There were other similar (but not so good) tracks by Hixxy with hard kicks like Smoogee's asleep again. My user name on here used to be called Evel (my grafiti tag name which was meant to be evil buy spelt it wrong for some reason) and thought that could be a 'DJ name' so chose that name but as I wanted to stick with a Hardcore theme I changed my user name to Smoogie! I spelt it different to the Hixxy name which is good imo! I use the name Smoogie for alot of other sites I sometimes use & I also use the name on discogs so if anyone uses that & has anything that I might want to buy off you then let me know through that!

My new email is [email protected] because my old msn ([email protected]) got a virus but I can still use the e-mail.

Meathead: was my nick name at school. i was short and lifted way too many weights, and all my mates at school were either skinny or fat so i stood out a bit. a couple of em started callin me a meathead (in a friendly way) and it stuck.
