Hey does anybody have any idea what ever happened to Bang! (aka Blaze, Nimrod, Solaris, and i think Oblivion). I was listening to some older tracks last week and realized they (i believe it was a trio) produced some of the most amazing tracks back in the day.

As far as i can remember, Nick got a kid and all that. Released an album called "Shooting Star" few years back under Rumour Records. Its strange though, as just recently he deleted all the videos in youtube under hes account. But yea as clarke said hes a member here, so maby he'll stop by to say hows it going...

according to this, he hasn't posted anything in almost 3 years. and the website mixedproductions.com is a dead end. well he left the business because of his family, then that's good. but still, damn shame because he had some really nice hits!

No, Nick Arnold & Jo James.
Although Cloudy Daze was written by Nick Arnold, Tom Orton & sung by Donna Grassie. Shooting Star was also written by Nick Arnold & Tom Orton.

Most Bang! material on Next Gen/B Beats where produced by either Brisk or Ham. I dont think Nick is actually a producer, based on his website, he's more a writer than a producer.
also, the names seems to be based on what label the tracks are released on.
for example, Almost all Bang! material was released on Next Gen (considering it was produced by either Brisk or Ham). (I don't know where Oblivion adds up in this tho :/ ).
Nimrod on Hect Tech (and produced by either Phosphor and Devastate).
Blaze! on Masterwax (produced by Phosphor+JustRich and Luna-C).
I did not take in account the remixes by Storm & Euphony.

Think there's gonna be a few new Al Storm remixes floating about. (When he get's arse in gear)
He's gonna be doing an update of Love, Life & Happiness. And possibly updating Cloudy Daze again. (Last attempt wasn't that good to be fair)

haha .. there is a hoard of brand new stuff coming soon, slowly working my way thru them, Nicks been very busy writing a pile of new bits, and some co-writes we have done, clips should star surfacing soon, will also be some more remixes of older material to follow ;)

It was only the update of Cloudy Daze that i didn't like. Others (i.e) Hyperspace, Give Me A Reason, Sailaway, Break Of Dawn etc etc were all very good. (IMO)
