I've bought a voltage converter... Hope it's the right thing!
Also Hope I haven't mashed the PS2 trying to use my UK power cable. :-/

i onced tryed it with a computer PSU (that damn switch was turned to 120v), i got blue sparks and smoke.
Also if the Power cable has an adaptor innit, it shouldnt matter. (Cant remember if the PS2 has an external or internal adaptor)

Nah, no external power block thing on the PS2.
I got an electric click but no smoke, spark or smell. Fingers crossed!
