Hello once again.
Just thought I would post me latest track remixes to see what all you the ravers think..
Got some new combinators and some other new stuff for reason and made this track with them, I think it's sounding cracking, Considiring it was made all in headphones.
Anyway Enjoy, and feel free to leave feedback please.
Happy Listening..

yea I was actually thinking of changing the kick to something harder, mabey even a small gabber sort of kick in the breakdowns. just to toughen the sound up a bit.
I like the start where I built the tempo up from 130 to 170Bpm sounds classic, was not sure how it would sound but I think its worked out ok..

Cool track mate:) I like the melody but try to be more dj friendly, start the track with standard bpm (it would be better to slow it down in the middle). Don't use gabba kick under this melody, try to make continuous fat bassline instead :)
Nice work!

What you've done sounds good but it doesn't have a whole lot of drive/energy. Just kinda plods a bit.
Needs:-
A bigger kick,
A more driving rythm to the bassline,
More hold on the riff when the track kicks in, build in another synth over it or something maybe...
Sounds good so far though. What speed is it by the way?

Thank's for the advice. I will be making some adjustments to the track next week some point,
As you say I could start with a fat bass line and work up to the tempo change later in the track? Might even sound good at the breakdown where I filtered the sound when its stretching before it kick's back into the track.
But yes I do agree that the track could start off with a beat.
@ Bulby_g the track is at 170Bpm, My computer wont let me put any more into the track as my computer is full of crap and mixes lol. and its stopping me running more things through reason as it makes the track stutter and pause as the DSP bar is hitting the red, Anyone know of a way to stop this happning??
cheerz

no bud I use Reason 4.0.. I have the buffer set to maximum, But with all the combinators and other stuff running the system seems to be lagging,
I did have another amazing sound lined up for use with the track but when I create a new track and place the device onto it and click play the buffer kicks in and stops the track which im gutted about,
Might need some more RAM I think as i only have 480MB and running 1.99Ghz with a AMD athlon 2400+ processor.

Yeah you def need more RAM! Either that or export all your bits to audio and add them like that to save on CPU

well i look foward to the new one
your right the kick needs to be harder
more bass and louder
the snare roll off deal could be softer it drowns out all the sound and is kinda annoying
about a third of the way through you should turn up the cymbals..... just my opinion

Change the bass to a straight off beat. Doing much else at hardcore tempos doesn't work.
Change up your bass sound to make it bigger, fatter. A bit more like a hardstyle bass.
Take some of the low end off of your high hats
Get a countermelody with some pads, 303's, or something like that. It's a little too basic ATM.
When building up out of your breakdown, you have to do something really energetic to get things going. Snare rushes + kick rushes tend to work well.
Near the end I'm hearing an off beat bassline, but it's really quiet and in a completely different key. What's going on with that.
You've got some pretty cool ideas going, but right now it's still really basic. I'd love to hear it once you finish it up though! (and those lead sounds are great. I love that DJ Gollum-y hard trance sound.)
