this is nothing new, it's the oil companies...they can pretty much do as they please because we still have to use the stuff

no way!!!!!
europe...
how do you guys do it???

but its not the point...
if more truckers went on strike then they would have to bring fuel prices down for diesl at least

and not enough people care enough about fuel prices to do something
these guys are laughing there way to the bank while some people quote "choose between eating and heating."

Roffles. Public transport in the uk is an absolute joke, other parts of Europe may have a half decent transport network.

Cars that are more popular in Europe on the whole are also much more fuel efficient than those favoured by people in the states.

most countrys are the same with fuel, ships float around and fill up huge containers on shores... normally they hold 1-2 months worth for that region.

really comes down to world wide demand, as more ships have to float around carrying oil... its like a real life RTS. Age of BP/Shell Empires

public transport is worse than a joke in the UK! love the way the government tax us to f**K on petrol prices on the green issue ect but also tax public transport in the same way! win win situation! anyway when the tories win the next gen it will be the same! I'm hoping for a hung parliament just for a laugh!

I hate inner city busses, i ride a bicycle instead. But if i wanted to, i could go to most places with public transportation, with most of the times busses going fairly often. Though costs on city to city has gone up a bit. But should still be cheaper then going with your own car AFAIK. Last time i used busses here was when i went to school in another city, but i payed like ~40€ a month and the government paid the rest, so never really had to think about the price :P
