The question "who is most popular, influence, image ect!" is pretty tricky to answer I think - influence, image, popularity and other traits don't always go strictly together.
Here's my take, in no particular order...
Scott Brown
Obviously popular for his UK hardcore, however he's been a prominent figure in two other underground scenes (bouncy techno, nustyle gabber) and is one of the very few UK hardcore DJs respected and recognized for his non-UK style. A great producer, a competent DJ, a successful label owner.
Styles
Like it or not, this guy has pretty much mastered the "pop" side of UK hardcore. It's no accident though - he's been consistently good throughout the years, both in groups and solo. A sellout? Possibly, but I'd rather see raves jam-packed with kids attracted by Styles alone than raves closing down due to low attendance. ;) He's also had some commercial success in popchart music - again, like it or not, it's an achievement.
Luna C
Probably the greatest outsider of the hardcore scene, this guy has produced more tracks than you have pubes. His UK hardcore, when he dabbled with it, has always been different and it's a sad thing that so few people know his stuff around here. He's also been VERY influential and outspoken throughout the years (and still is, kniteforcerevolution.com).

Yeah, speaking of outsiders. I dare to say that this is the centre of hardcore randomness, craziness and, well, you know what I mean. Superb production coupled with a very non-conformist attitude (and more randomness). I believe Jon has influenced a whole breed of producers who only recently started coming up from under the radar, bringing fresh sounds that the scene so desperately needs.

How many of you have first heard hardcore thanks to HHC.com? How many of you come here daily (or almost daily) for info and music? 'Nuff said. :)

They are a good choice but did you read my post? I agree with all you say but I couldn't imagine Jon Doe DJ'ing in Holland! Hardcore in each country is different, but certain DJ's are popular in more than one country! I love Smurf, who is massive in Europe but in his homeland, isn't as popular! The question is "who are the top 5 in the world"

I've read your post. I just assumed that - since it's hhc.com - you mean "UK hardcore" when you say hardcore. :)

I can see where your coming from, as I'm from the UK! but this is why I've posted the question, for people like you aswell as from the UK! I prefer gabber, speedcore ect and I'm from Wales, doesn't mean anything, The question is "again" for everyone worldwide! The top 5 Hardcore Dj's

Probably these would be the top five... They pump out the most tunes and are all running their own labels..
