i'd listen to pretty much anythin really apart from hip-hop, most hip-hop just bores me to tears. the only hip-hop artists who i can listen to, who dont go on about the same old shite all the time are; dan le sac vs scroobius pip and eminem (earlier stuff). and while im on the subject of hip-hop, am i the only one that wants that ****in soulja boy shot?

anyway i listen to a lot of indie and rock music, arctic monkeys, cribs, muse etc i like the foals they use a lot of synths in their music but its still sorta indie music. listen to a bit of punk music and some reggae too.

and i like a lot of my dads old music, led zeppelin, thin lizzy, jimmi hendrix etc basically i'll listen to almost anythin but all of that just cant replace hardcore for me.

I'd stick to my ever growing collection of emo/screamo (it's mostly really obscure, good stuff, rather than the terrible crap you hear on the radio), old black metal and crustcore, old punk/hardcore/post punk, shoegaze, and dub. I'd probably get way more into shoegaze and post punk, because I'd have the same need for big euphoric leads and dance beats.

Interesting, just how many people have said Classical, yeh....

Classical (mainly Baroque), that's what's usually playing in the car.

Jazz (and that's a huge genre with more than it's fair share of crap).

Celtic ( Uilleann Pipes.... whoah - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF3fW4Nox9U)

....and, Blues, Swing, Rock, Motown, R&B, Soul, Northern Soul, the list is endless....

if it's good music, it's good music.

Oh yeh, and 'Stronger' by the Sugar Babes.

about this, if you take a hhc melody, slow down the bpm, and play it with some strings sample, it kind of sounds like a classical-baroque piece...

Probs some hip hop.

I like mike shinoda a lot also (to whoever said that) I also just like Linkin park in general. Musically its pretty good and chester bennington (?) has an amazing voice.

If you could take wes boreland, sam rivers and john otto from limp bizkit (coz fred durst is a douche) and pair them up with mike and chester youve got a ****ing WICKED band right there.

Im not so fond of linkin parl's new album though.... at all.

I like a bit of classical... cant really beat it for musical brilliance.

And no, i also want that soulja boy gronk shot. That song makes me want to cry myself to sleep at night.
