About 2 weeks ago i was really ill with the sickness & flu that was going about. I also had an ear infection & went completely death in one ear which was a bloody horrible feeling. It took me about a week & a half to shake it off. Due to having no energy i drank a bottle or 2 of lucozade a day just for some energy. Now i'm better i keep having these really drained stages once or twice a day where i feel sick. I drink a bottle of Lucozade & feel better after about 10 mins. Do you think that my body has began to rely on the Lucozade or is it just all in my mind?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

It's probably just the tail end of the bug, the reason that you feel a bit sharper after drinking Lucozade is that it's an energy drink and full of glucose.
I drink loads of Lucozade in work and I don't feel like I need to drink it when I'm at home.

im the same mate but with red bull have a few cans before work[manual labour] sets me up for most of day only drink it when going to work.

I dont know if this could have anything to do with it but i remember reading and seeing on a tv programme that lucozade gets rid of hangovers....Theres some chemical in it that does this god knows how, so maybe if you've drank the night before it could be that lol

i love lucozade when ive got a hangover :) just give you that little lift that gives you hope that ur going to be alive when its all over lol.
drinking energy drinks all the time cant be good for you though. you will start to rely on them to get an energy buzz.
i usually find it a lot better to just have breakfast in the morning and drink lots of water through the day, keeping hydrated probably gives you more energy than a short energy boost from drinks like lucozade

I drink it to help me with my mixing but at the moment I have had a few cans of Foster's & trying to mix Q-tex's 'This Fukka' with Technosis 'Rhythmic Riot' & trying to work out when to que Rythemic Riot... I have meen working very hard on my latest mix so I hope you all like it! Im tipsy...
Back on topic Lucozade is a good 'energy' drink & I like Orange best!

I used to be same mate but heard lotta bad stories about how it damages your liver, is banned in a lot of countring that works that good probably countries in europe for that reason.
Can see aswell any time went mad on voddy red bull or anything stomachs been destroyed with acid for a good day after.
