new tunes/tracks ect? do you rely on CD releases? do you attend events, do you listen to hardcore radio shows? or have you insider privacy (a couple of people spring to mind) or do you just rely on hardcore websites?

i buy and DJ my own music,
ive stopped buying comps for the meantime, and i dont go events coz none of my mates like hardcore enough! tut!

Buy my own music and sometimes I receive un-released songs from producers and others. And sometimes just listen to clips better than nothing. :P

but how do you know what to buy? ie the latest stuff! if you havn't heard it! do you just guess whats good ect

Well from clips from the site. It will show you 'new releases', 'week releases' and so on...
And just listen to the audio clips before buying. Simple. :)
But I know my songs so yeh I know what is good.
ALSO 'THE DOC' AS IN THE DJ THE DOCTOR?

I probably havn't worded the post correctly, when new tracks come out how do you listen to them? if there on a site with clips ect then they are old! because the DJ's/producers play them first before they post clips/samples for download and then to actually buy them its longer! What I'm on about is how you actually hear or find a "new hardcore" tune! the tunes before sale ect!

hahah same! I've been wanting to know as well because when i go to the ush. website theres a lot of threads that talk about "top tunes for this month" etc. and i always see a lot of tracks i've never heard of or seen anywhere.

A bit of everything really. I hear stuff while raving or if i'm browsing the net & see something i like i'll buy it, Whether its a compilation or vinyl. I quite often have a look through the record label sites several times a week & see what new stuff is available.

I don't really listen to the new stuff, I mostly listen to the old stuff! New mix coming soon with some classics in it, and some newer stuff but only the hard stuff!

tape packs and cd packs.
these aint released that long after the event, i do however sometimes illegally download my packs (as there illegal anyway, why wast my money?)
which can be up for download with one week in some cases

I buy new release cd's from live events, ie, uproar & HTID as its a sure fire way of hearing brand new not released yet media. Plus with mc's it gets ya head bangin' more.
