i have read about Torq and also Rave 'Scratch Live'
Torq is cheaper and seems to have flex on what you can do, but which is better BY FACTS and opinions.
if it is opinion, please post it underlined or in italics

No Left Turn uses Torq. I'd say go for it, I think it's pretty flexible in terms of adjusting your setup later on.

I have Torq with the Xponent and absolutely love it! I sold off all my DJ gear a few years ago so having a controller interface like the Xponent makes a really nice substitute for practicing at home. I'll admit that Torq's GUI doesn't look as elegant as SSL or Traktor, but it still get's the job done and is still really powerful with MIDI Learn and VST support.

You could totally use the Xponent as a MIDI controller for Ableton as well. Assign the EQ knobs and crossfader to controls in Ableton, and you'll pretty much have a standard DJ setup IN Ableton. (Some people can't use Ableton for DJ'ing because it doesn't "feel" like DJ'ing so using the Xponent as a controller might help fill that void."
