I have a few cds that have the classic track, "Cloudy Daze" by Bang! on it. I think Hixxy off Bonkers 3 mixes into this track the best, it just seems to blend well with "Make Your Kind Of Music". Stu Allan comes in next with his Hardcore Nation cd.

Yes it does go well. Especially with Hixxy scratching w/ the woof sample. :)

Hixxy done a remix of it in 2003 but it was a none Hardcore remix, more like a club version, not bad for a remix but not the original which came out in 1996, not 1997 as often thought! Shooting Star came out in 97 not 98 lol

Indeed. Hixxy also done a 2000 version of it on NGLPS. I also hear that Al Storm will be doing another new update of this in the near future.

I always loved the Storm & Euphony remix of Cloudy Daze. Lost In Space was fantastic also

I am not talking about remixes, I am talking about which DJ do you think mixes into the track the best? Cloudy Daze is on countless albums, and some DJs, like Frolic, do a pathetic job mixing into the track. I know this is a pointless post, but I thought it would be neat to see what everyone thought.

Why don't Hardcore DJs add silly sound scratch-effects on cds anymore....besides Sy's "Ah Yeah!"

because most djs don't scratch.

also if you're trying to do a studio mix you want to make sure you don't screw up otherwise you get to start over. scratching can add to you're frustration...it's much more fun to do something when it isn't being recorded so people will hear that screw up over and over =P
