Free Flash application. It emulates a TR-909, two TB-303, a mixer and 14 effect pedals real time!

Yeah seen this, it has to use java for timing as flash's timing sucks, I've seen some other wicked stuff as well like native sound editors with time stretching etc. Because flash 9 actually has some really good coding behind it now this type of stuff is possible now.
