This is my first serious happy hardcore song. What do you think about it so far? And yeah, I haven't normalized it yet (I'll do that eventually).

Also, do you have any suggestions? As, I stopped it there because I pretty much ran out of ideas. I'm stuck.

Cheers.

kind of freeform?
you have the first part of the track, perhaps you could add a breakdown, and then build up again. what happens at 2:07, it starts to sound like a melody but it stops right a seconds after.
the drums sound a little messy

pd. how did you record the screen while playing the track?

Very catchy little riff i thought...And what does happen @ 2:07 because that sounded promising.

Yes, I agree, the drums are messy. I'm not exactly sure how to improve it. And, how exactly does a breakdown work?
Drum and Percussion tracks:
Clave (00:21)
Closed HiHat (00:11)
Claps (01:19)
Open HiHat (00:45)
Drum (00:33)
Breakbeat (00:00)
Snare (01:08)
Cymbal (00:10)

I recorded the screen with camtasia.

Here's the riff. I'm still working on it (It's anything but complete). I'm having trouble completing it because my MIDI keyboard has died ('twas running on batteries, I still can't find the power cable)

What exactly was wrong with it? Tell me what you didn't like (I imagine it's the whole song...)
