Ok, I have a new mix coming up later but it is a rather large file & Mediafire won't have enough room for it & I dont want it to take too long to upload & it will also take along time to download! I was lucky to find another mix yesturday that is longer than mine yet the file is alot smaller so is there a way to make it smaller?
It is a MPEG Layer 3 Audio and 109 MB (115,274,772 bytes)
I supose the only other alternative would be to make it in two different parts?

Well choose a lower bitrate
I always record my mixes at 320kbps and for the interwebz i convert it down to 128 or 192kbps
for youtube 96kbps should be enough, you only hear the difference when turned REALLY loud, for normal Car or PC Listening it should be ok

chuck it back into audacity, or whatever wave editor you're using, and when you go to save it select a lower bit rate 128-192Kbps would be best for a mix.

Woah woah woah. Smoogie, whatever you are using to record your mixes should be able to export at a different bitrate.
Are you using Audacity?
