Ok so a while ago I moved up here to the Toledo area for college and I left a pretty good rave scene in Atlanta, I've since been forced to become an industrial club girl outta lack of anything to dance to. My boyfriend has a similar dilemma being from Columbus, where they supposedly had raves too (though he assures me none were actually in Columbus) So, does anyone know where there are still raves held in Toledo, within a few hour drive of Toledo or in Detroit (it's the closest *real* city to us) or nearby?? Any help would be much appreciated, we've been trying for years w/o luck, but a genre cross over at one of the Industrial/Goth clubs we frequent had a rave vs industrial night and it really rekindled/refueled our desire to find a rave near us, so any help would be very much appreciated! :)

Detroit doesn't have much outside of clubs and techno. Don't know a thing about Toledo though.

most of the parties in ohio are in cinci & cleveland. for hardcore I'd hit up cleveland or chicago.

Pope C XXIII, do you know the names of any specific clubs in Detroit that play techno, the only club in Detroit I'm familiar with is City Club. Thanks for you input. :)
Brian K, do you know any venues where they are held, or is it more of an underground random thing? Thanks for you input as well. :)

The calendar at www.detroitluv.com will tell you all you need to know (even if the forums are so jacked up on Haterade it's beyond belief).

depends on who's throwing the party. some venues are reused, while some people try to find bigger and better places to throw parties at.
