This is my most recent track, Hardcore Feeling, has a similar layout to Heartbreaker but is very uplifting. I'm hoping to add some vocals to this track over the next week but I thought i'd let people hear it without first. Hope you like it! Feedback is always appreciated good or bad;-)

yeah euphony, i'm a great fan of the style of old skool hardcore. It's always straight to the point. I'm not really a fan of these new extended buildups. You know the ones that never seem to end. I think we have to take hardcore away from this repetitive style that a lot of people seem to copy when making hardcore these days.

euphorys right its got a little old skool feel to it
i really like it
but if you want my opinion (which you dont have to listen to)
for the first part where you have 15 beats of the same note it gets a little boring after hearing that a few times (also might make it hard for whoever does vocals to come up with something there)
but still its a great tune man

I know what you mean, but you've kind of made something rather repetitive. This track isn't bad or anything, but I don't think I'd mix it.
I'm not sure what repetitive style you think people are copying either. A lot of hardcore today is really pushing the boundaries, although individual artists do like to stick to some basic layout so that people recognize their signature sound.
There are some cool ideas in this track, but it's nothing special or spectacular, needs more work on the engineering side.

Leto, i'm not talking about the the tracks being progressive over all, I was talking about those buildups that never seem to end. You know the ones that you're expecting the break to come but it stalls for anothere 32bars, I don't like this as I think it ruins everything the buildup stands for & when you start to hear this in nearly every hardcore track it can get a bit repetitive. As for the new tracks, I really like the boundaries that they cross but you really have to know you're producers in order to dig them up.

ACK.
Let's not call Music of the Primes repetitive. It's one of the coolest hardcore tracks and certainly most inventive ones I've ever heard.
I think it might still be on
