What do you find is the best parameter to put on when using flanger and filters? :)

depends on where you are applying the effect really..

if you are justt starting though, stick with 1/1 2/1 4/1 for the filter and 2/1 4/1 for the flanger

you should really just be experimenting and see what you think sounds best

As the man says play about and see what you think sounds best!

I got a DJM 909 recently and since i have had it i've had been learning new tricks with the EFX daily until my shitty company wanted me to work in Africa then Norway, 3 months and i have touch my TT's 3 times:( Roll on the 22nd:)

Really whatever sounds good again. You don't ever stick with one set parameter on your effects, just go nuts and experiment at the time. Also the longer flanger paramater you go the deeper I think the flange sounds (to me anyway). But yeah just do everything on the fly dude!

Stupid flanger, such an overused effect.

Filters on djms sound bad so those should be avoided too.

The 800 has a few decent effects though.

Yea just stick to what Cotts said. I have a DJM400 and what your probably gunna wana do is just experiment with different ones until you find what you think is cool.
