Ya! I checked out that music video on the homepage, and it just seems slow...How fast do you think it is 160-165 bpm?

i'd say its 160. i wonder if all the 'hardcore' tracks will be the same speed?

170BPM, which is pretty standard for Darren Styles. So, i'd say, most of them will be about that speed too.

I don't know what's come over me, i'm starting to like that "Right By Your Side" tune. Still hate "Discolights" mind.

You know what Im getting a bit fed up of Darren Styles now as he seems to be concentrating on his more Comercial Dance style tracks and not bringing half as many Hardcore tracks out.

It's like i've seen more Darren Styles tunes out there in record shops lately that are just your average cheesy dance tunes and flyers where I live were he's playing non Hardcore sets.

Don't get me wrong though I do like him and rate him as a top Hardcore DJ/Producer but just feel he shouldn't be drifting into that world of comercial cheese!!

Unless his next goal is to have a No 1 in the charts!!!

be realistic
his goal is to have a succesful career while writing music he enjoys

he doesn't care if it's hardcore or not. nor should he.

People in this scene are obsessed with being hardcore for the sake of being hardcore. Sure, I like hardcore but that doesn't mean it's "wrong" to make any other style of music.

tbh if "Different Groove" is the sort of music he's planning on writing from now on, then the pop charts can have him.
