It's not Matt Carlton, take a look at the bio in the file:
First Time I was exposed to Hardcore or Jungle?
When the movie Hackers was released my brother bought the Music For the Jilted Generation. Voodoo people stood out from every song from that album; with its insane breaks and melody.
Years later in 2001 I found an mp3 of Outta Space; that must have been my baptism into Hardcore. I bought and listened to the experience for a year and suddenly felt like an outsider in school so I thought conforming would make me happy. So for two years I listened to whatever anyone else was listening to until one day.
In 2005, I worked a night crew job at this grocery store. A guy I’m friends with now told me he listens to hardcore and jungle, so he gave me his mini disc player to listen to for the rest of the shift. The heavens opened up as I pressed play and I heard the first few seconds of “Nino- The Gun”, and my heart began to race. However, right when that break squirted out into the mix I was saved and reborn again into hardcore and JUNGLE!
Of course I listened to the Prodigy before; however, listening to the more underground stuff for the first time, really took my soul.
Location: Toronto, Ontario Canada
Most Favourite Label: Reinforced
Most Favourite Artist: Internal Affairs- despite having 1 ½ releases lol.
What I like to incorporate into tunes: I personally don’t even feel 70% satisfied with my tunes. However, what I wish to achieve is: making a tune that you can listen to in your car, mp3 player, tape deck, shower, record player and anywhere.
Where would I like for my music to go: Anywhere it possibly can go.
What do I think of 10% records: An oasis for musicians who want open their minds and not stay within a strict boundary.
The dates do not add up at all, Carlton's first Helix track was released in 95'.
