They were never exactly underground in first place mate. Jus they now take the piss out of jumpstyle instead of happy hardcore, all pretty similar really.

Didn't they 'copy' the Rythemic State? The Rythemic Sate had some good stuff comeing out of Scotland, might use one of their tracks in my next mix...

I know they weren't underground, but still... their first 3 albums were great!

haven't listened to them in some time but I don't think they fit the profile for hardcore =P

liked them in the early 90s when their productions were more acidy with lots of 303 usage

I did like some of their releases in the late 90s...but those were more prog house/hard trance sounding

its just about whos popular... you know styles will win everything again, with his album & 3 singles out this year.. (third one being discolights on the 30th)

all these awards should be for new talent only, apart from best contribution..

its the new young breed talent that should be looked after.. imo

you're right there mate, these old farts should be cramed into one award & let the new, up & coming talent shine through. It's always the biggest names that win:-(

Scooter definatly had some real classics back in the day, they def have a very distinct grove of their own. Would like to see some big name remixs on more of scooters tunes, have to say i have not heard breezes.

One of the best hard dance tunes of the last couple of years has to be Scooter - Apache Rocks. Awsome, awsome tune, and I was well suprised to learn that it was a scooter track, just goes to show that they can ajust their production style to fit nicely in a Genre.
