The closest thing to hardcore you'll get mate is the Slipmatt Old skool night in Summum mate. It's right over the opposite end of the bay from the west end. Quite a walk but trust me mate, it's well worth it. The thing is, I spent days going round all my reps & ticket shops & no one had ever heard of it. It turns out it's a Rep night with all the drinks at a euro each. Trust me mate, when you see the prices of the clubs you'll realise how good this is. The only place that I managed to get some tickets was from my cousins Irish(Celtic) Bar in the westend. You'll be able to tell if you're in the right bar with all the Celtic tops hanging from the walls lol. If you can't find it then go into kilties, the scottish bar & they'll point you in the right direction. It's like 4 bars along from kilties. It's only on one night a week & i'm sure it was a wednesday last year so don't hang around when you get there otherwise u might miss it. It's 30euro's for the ticket mate but once you're in it's a euro a drink. I mean you cant beat that! My Cousin is Called Shaun & tell him that Paul Conway sent u. He might even give u a free drink lol. probs not. Too find Summum you have to follow the main road all the way round the bay from the west end but if you stick to the main road, you can't go wrong.
