how do you zoom in really close on FL8. I mean closer than the "close" setting in the menu. I used to be able to left click and zoom in with the wheel but can't do that now. :(

When I tried the demo I'm sure you could zoom with the wheel.

in the playlist and piano roll windows there is a magnifying glass icon at the top (near where the pencil and paintbrush is) click on that and highlight the are you want to zoom in on..
i used to use it to edit wav's and stuff

Never looked before 'cus I could zoom with the wheel.

You can also press "Ctrl" on your keyboard and roll the mouse wheel.
This works for almost everything that you run on windows too
